Emily & Harvey married on 4th August 2017 at the beautiful Ashton Lodge Country House! Emily is super talented with crafts so the wedding was handmade with love!

The Dress…
Emily always wanted embroidery lace and thought she wanted a vintage style with lots of different fabrics and really fitted. Emily then visited the Ricoh Arena National Midlands Wedding Show to watch our catwalk with one of her three bridesmaids. Emily said ‘It was packed I didn’t get to see many of the dresses on the stage but then there it was Sam Rollins one of the models and my neighbour walked out in this beautiful dress Justin Alexander dress Kate, fitted top and full skirt the embroidered lace on the top won it for me that was it, the first dress I tried on I cried it fitted like a glove I felt amazing in it and that was it, it was over my budget but I had to have it.
The Love Story…
Harvey and I met on Match.com, he was my third date our first date he came and picked me up in a Porsche 911 turbo, we both have a love for sports cars. We went on lots of dates travelled aboard USA and Australia where i introduced Harvey to some very close friends of mine. We have been together for 9 years. Harvey proposed to me on Christmas day 2014 I thought the ring was a pair of new earrings so it was a total surprise to me. Harvey is a true gentleman he also asked my dad for my hand in marriage. We have two lovely children I wanted to wait until our daughter was 3 years old before we got married although she did still steel my thunder going down the aisle, but how couldn’t resist a flower fairy in a purple sparkly tutu.

Emily’s most memorable part of the Big Day!
I have many amazing memories of our wedding day, getting ready with all my bridesmaids in the morning, making my dad cry at his first look at me in my dress, saying I DO, Getting a whole load of confetti down the top of my wedding dress and having to scoop it out, the photographer man handling one of my bridesmaids up onto the tractor for a great photo which was very funny! My first dance with Harvey. We picked one our favourite bands Foo Fighters ‘learn to fly’ and it being sabotaged by my lovely friends with a clip of the song I hate the most which is running joke with us, it had the whole room in hysterics including me! Doing my speech and forgetting i’d written one so I winged it turned out funnier! Sorry I don’t have a most memorable moment as the whole day, night and early hours of the morning eating wedding cake at 3am outside on the patio in the summer evening, telling stories was a perfect end to an amazing day.
